Gene Kern is an entrepreneur who has 30 years of experience in the Information Technology field, mostly as a consultant to large healthcare and communications organizations. He began his career in the early 80's working on Local Area Networks (LAN) and consulting on PC based systems. His experience spans network and system design, network management, IT operations, data center management, project management, disaster recovery planning and corporate management.
Mr. Kern is a co-founder of WAKE Technology Services, Inc, a technology infrastructure consulting firm, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania and the founder and President of Gallo-Kern Enterprises, a firm specializing in data center consulting to the real estate industry.
Bruce Myatt, PE is a registered Mechanical Engineer and leads TDC's operations in San Francisco California. With over 30 years of engineering critical facilities, he is known throughout the industry and government as one of the foremost authorities on Data Center Energy Efficiency.
Founder of Silicon Valley's Critical Facilities Round Table (CFRT), he assisted with the development of institutional programs that established the foundation for EPA's 2007 Report to Congress on Data Center Energy Efficiency, and has since helped lead the development of designs of state-of-the art data centers for the world's largest internet and technology companies, and for supercomputing facilities. He currently leads designs for alternative and renewable energy solutions for data centers and is involved with the development and operations planning of "off grid" computing facilities for TDC.
He has helped developed solutions that have now become broadly accepted as "Data Center Best Practices" around the globe and has been selected as a technical advisor to DOE, EPA, CEC, LBNL, and PG&E Committees focused on Data Center Energy Efficiency.
He has provided data center energy efficiency presentations and panel discussions to audiences at Data Center Dynamics, 7x24 Exchange National Conference, Uptime Institute, Next Generation Data Centers, The SVLG Data Center Summit, Data Centers 21, Green Data Center Conference, Cisco's Executive Green Data Center Round Table, Intel's Great Eco Debates, HP Executive Briefings, IFMA, Building Automation, Teladata Converging Technologies, IMN's Developers Conference, Crescent Technologies, and several PG&E Customer Energy Efficiency conferences.
Mr. Myatt is Co-Chairman of the CFRT Energy Committee; a member of the Board of Advisors and Technical Columnist for "Mission Critical" Magazine; member of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Energy Committee; Board Advisor to 6Connect Inc., Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sigma Phi Delta International Social-Professional Engineering Fraternity; and, recently, a member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of the Bay Area.
Michael Bednar is a 24-year professional accomplished in the areas of environmental engineering, risk management, strategic planning/brand equity strategy, as well as financial restructuring and strategic operational/organizational transformations. Mr. Bednar will be responsible for the development and integration of strategic plans and initiatives as well as economic, environmental, and social sustainability for all TDC brands, channels, companies, and assets. Prior to coming to TDC, Mr. Bednar, in the role of Managing Director, successfully branded and re-energized two privately held environmental risk engineering corporations enabling each company to achieve 75% and 80% market share respectfully.
Mr. Bednar sits on the board of five privately held companies and one nonprofit corporation.
Peter Gattoni is a highly sought after financial executive with a strong background in building financial and operational models and forecasts, strategic planning, and cash flow management. He has a proven ability of identifying key business drivers to facilitate growth and to bridge the gap between the financial and operations sides of the business structure to optimize profitability and efficiency.
